Германия, Япония и страны Евросоюза вошли в тройку лидеров самых благоприятных стран мира. Эти факты были выяснены международной организацией GlobeScan.
Россия в этом рейтинге находится на 9 месте, ее обогнали Китай, Бразилия и Индия, но, несмотря на эти показатели, стало ясно, что общее мнение о России улучшилось за последние три года. Кроме того, по результатам опроса выяснилась взаимная симпатия России и Китая друг к другу. Китай считает внешнюю политику России положительной, Россия же считает Китай дружественным государством. Граждане Италии, Германии и Италии настроены по отношению к России хуже, а 45 % американцев оценили российскую политику позитивно. Против Америки высказались 47% от всех участников опроса. Среди тех, кто характеризует политику Штатов не очень положительно такие государства, как Ливан, Египет и Канада.
Аутсайдером опроса стал Иран, похожие показатели были также у Израиля и Пакистана.
