Ученые из России нашли замену алмазам
До сих пор крепче алмазов ученые так и не смогли ничего придумать, как бы они не ломали голову. Но российским химикам улыбнулась удача. После подробного анализа элементов таблицы Менделеева они смогли составить несколько соединений, которые вполне смогут по своим свойствам заменить алмазы.
Над поиском альтернативы алмазам работали химики из МФТИ и «Сколтеха». Они составили целый список соединений, которые по прочности ни в чем не будут уступать обычным алмазам, поэтому их можно будет использовать даже в буровых установках.
На самом деле в современном мире почти для всего можно найти достойную альтернативу. Например детали для скутера можно купить оригинальные или заменить их более дешевыми аналогами. На качестве работы это никак не скажется, но зато какую-то сумму сэкономить удастся.
По словам сотрудника «Сколтеха» и Московского Физхтеха Александра Квашина, российские ученые создали так называемую дорожную карту, с помощью которой экспериментаторы смогут более эффективно проводить поиски сверхтвердых материалов, подающих очень большие надежды.
Работа над этим проектом началась еще в 15 лет назад. Тогда известному российскому химику Артему Оганову удалось создать алгоритм, облегчающий определение свойств кристаллов при разных условиях. За все последующие годы этот алгоритм очень сильно усовершенствовался и позволил найти еще больше материалов, которые имеют огромный потенциал.
На сегодняшний день нет ни единого вещества, который был бы таким же твердым и устойчивым к повреждениям, как алмаз. Но зато ученые утверждают, что из уже известных науке веществ такие материалы можно синтезировать.
